Support Rotary Chatsworth’s 67 Pints of Life blood drive

Rotary invites individual donors, families, businesses, schools, religious groups and community groups to join them in making this campaign a resounding success.

Every year on July 18, South Africans and communities around the world come together to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela by dedicating 67 minutes of service to other – symbolising the 67 years Madiba spent fighting for justice, dignity, and humanity.

In that same spirit of compassion and unity, the Rotary Club of Chatsworth in conjunction with the South African National Blood Service proudly invites you to be part of a life-changing initiative:

The ’67 Pints of Life’ blood drive campaign for Mandela Day is scheduled to take place on:

  • When? Saturday, July 18 from 9am to 4pm
  • Where? Milky Lane area – Chatsworth Centre

How can you get involved?

Rotary invites individual donors, families, businesses, schools, religious groups and community groups to join them in making this campaign a resounding success.

A call to action

This Mandela Day, Rotary asks you to stand with them, roll up your sleeve, and become a hero in someone’s story.

  • Help them reach – and exceed – their goal of 67 pints of life-saving blood
  • Be part of a movement that transforms compassion into action
  • Leave a legacy of hope, just as Madiba did

Why does this campaign matter?

Blood is one of the most critical resources in healthcare – yet it is often in short supply. Hospitals rely on voluntary donations every single day to support:

  • Emergency surgeries/  accident victims, etc

At a time when healthcare systems continue to face pressure, your contribution can make the difference between life and loss.

For more information or to get involved, please contact the community service director, Mr Bala Moodley on 082-378-1165 or email [email protected]
