Man sentenced to five years in jail for attempted murder

Det Sgt TH Maphumulo of the Umkomaas detectives unit thoroughly investigated the matter, leading to a successful conviction.

Khulani Dlamini (34) was convicted of attempted murder in the Scottburgh Magistrates Court, last week, where he was handed down a five-year sentence.

Dlamini stabbed the victim in his head and stomach on January 2.
