Wordsmiths win big at spelling bee contest

Emerging victorious was the brilliant Ethan Naidoo, followed by Bridgette Padayachee and Josiah Ganason, who took the competition to the distance.

Spelling savants converged at St Mary’s Primary School when they hosted a thrilling spelling bee contest, recently. The event drew swaths of proud parents, who cheered on their children.

The field was stacked with fierce competitors, showcasing their exceptional spelling skills in a battle of wits which went on for a whopping 19 rounds- each presenting a new challenge for the young participants.
