Wild Coast Sun is not only a resort filled with family fun and exciting activities, but also a casino that offers outstanding adult entertainment, dining, and nightlife.

October is birthday month for Wild Coast Sun, Sun International’s only beachfront resort, and this year, the iconic destination celebrated its 44th birthday in true coastal style.

Guests enjoyed a vibrant weekend filled with entertainment and activities, from a lively Waterpark Foam Party at Wild Waves Water Park and colourful Emojis inflatables around the resort, to energetic sets from local DJs, DJ Theo Papli, DJ Keenz, and Jarred Live at Calypso Bar.

The celebrations continued with birthday draws across the casino floor, including Silver and Gold, Platinum, and the exclusive Diamond draw in the Prive.

Highlights included a captivating performance by Katlego Maboe and the Survivors Dance Crew, followed by a joyful cake cutting and champagne ceremony.

Guests were also treated to cupcakes and champagne, while the evening ended on a high note with a Silent Disco under the stars on the Banqueting Lawns.

General manager, Henry Tshegetso Boekhouer, who celebrated his first year at the helm, says the resort’s milestone reflects its deep connection with guests and the local community.

“Wild Coast Sun is more than a resort – it’s a place where people feel at home. Many of our guests have been coming here for decades, creating memories with their families. As we celebrate 44 years, we’re focused on keeping that sense of warmth and belonging alive while continuing to grow with our community,” he said.
