Friendly competition takes centre stage at Chatsworth Bowling Club

The Chatsworth Bowling Club is inviting new members to join, with free coaching lessons available for anyone interested in taking up the sport.

Fun, friendly competition and plenty of excitement filled the greens as the Chatsworth Bowling Club hosted its monthly games recently.

Eight teams took part in a mixed trips competition, with players contesting two sessions of 10 ends each. Emerging as the overall winners were Devi Haripersad (skip), Mogie Naidoo and Steven Munsami.

The first session was won by Colin Govender (skip), Sydney Pulliah and Shantha Naidoo, while the second session winners were Vincent Subramani (skip), Narain Pillay and Kem Ramsewar.

Players displayed impressive skill, precision and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Winners and runners-up were rewarded with cash incentives in recognition of their performances.

The Chatsworth Bowling Club is inviting new members to join, with free coaching lessons available for anyone interested in taking up the sport. Games are played every Wednesday and Friday from 9am.
