Drivers with a difference: Regeto’s charity initiative warms hearts
The initiative, part of their annual charity drive, was inspired by the drivers’ first-hand knowledge of the struggles faced by parents in paying for scholar transport.
In a display of community spirit, Regeto Transport Operators, a scholar transport association, based in Lehae that transports pupils in Lehae and its surrounding areas, has once again given back to the community.
On Tuesday, April 22, they visited Libra and Apex Primary Schools in Lenasia, distributing much-needed school uniforms to deserving pupils.

“We see the struggles parents face in paying us – they really struggle,” said Regeto deputy chairperson, Kenneth Mafela.
Given their daily work with school pupils, they chose to focus their efforts on supporting these young individuals and making a positive impact in their lives.
The selection of the two schools was part of their annual rotation, bringing joy to those who need it most.
