WASP brightens up lives with hamper donation

Those, who would like to sponsor or donate towards the organisation’s community upliftment programmes, can contact Brian Naidoo on 084-474-6669.

Members of the Widowed and Single Parents NPO (WASP) pulled up their sleeves and distributed 67 hampers to pupils at Junagarth Primary School. This formed part of the organisation’s Mandela Day initiative.

Inspired by the late struggle icon and former president Nelson Mandela who strived to make a positive impact in the lives of others, WASP chairperson, Brian Naidoo and his team donated new school shoes and food parcels to the deserving pupils.

Naidoo expressed his gratitude for being a blessing on this significant day. “We constructed a tower of 67 cans to honour Tata Madiba. Let us try to do more community work and be of service to mankind, more often. We require your kind support to continue our daily projects,” said Naidoo.

Investing in young children is crucial as Tata Madiba loved the children, and Naidoo hopes to continue Madiba’s legacy by offering support in local schools when they can.

However, they need your sponsorship and donations to do this. Those, who would like to sponsor or donate towards the organisation’s community upliftment programmes, can contact Brian Naidoo on 084-474-6669.
