Fatal N2 crash leaves one dead

One person was killed following a collision between a truck and car on the N2 northbound, just after the M7 interchange (Edwin Swales), earlier today.

Reports received from Rescue Care have indicated that two people were also injured.

Traffic was severely affected as emergency personnel worked to clear the scene.

The relevant authorities were at the scene and will be investigating further.
