Ranked among the top two automotive and lifestyle festivals in Africa, Gas Motorshow International returns to Durban from June 13 to 14, 2026, for its biggest and most ambitious edition yet.
Following explosive growth over the past few years and attracting over 30, 000 spectators, the 2026 edition officially steps onto the international stage with global celebrities, international music artists, world-class stunt entertainment, and an upgraded festival experience unlike anything previously seen on the continent.

- International celebrities and music artists including Hollywood actor, Sung Kang, internationally recognised for his role as Han in the Fast and Furious franchise, alongside Miro from Belgium and DJ Lex from the USA
- A brand-new international stunt showcase designed to elevate the live motorsport and adrenaline experience
- A reimagined music line-up featuring major local talent including Liquid Deep, Sam Deep, Ryan the DJ, Chloe, and Enrico

The 2026 edition will feature:

- International automotive personality Sung Kang promoting his upcoming film, Drifter

National tour with Sung Kang
Organisers have confirmed that fans in Johannesburg and Cape Town have not been forgotten.
For one night only in each city, fans will have the opportunity to attend exclusive Gas Motorshow National Tour car meets featuring a special appearance by Sung Kang ahead of the Durban festival weekend. Johannesburg is on June 9, and Cape Town is on June 10.
An additional exclusive fan experience, A Night with Sung Kang, will take place on June 11 at the iconic Barnyard Theatre at Suncoast Casino.
This intimate evening will give hardcore fans the opportunity to enjoy dinner, entertainment, music, storytelling, and an unforgettable meet-and-greet experience with the international star in a premium setting.
