The contest consisted of an English and isiZulu category with Kayden participating in the English category. This culminated in a glittering awards presentation: Umlazi District Excellence Awards 2024, held on October 10, at West Park School, where the shy, unassuming pupil was one of the recipients. Acting principal of Merry Hill Primary, Mr J Inderlal was ecstatic at his exemplary achievement.
