Homegrown Night Market at Serenity Hills brings quality stalls to KZN South Coast

Established in March 2022, the monthly Night Market at Serenity Hills, Margate has quickly become a calendar favourite selling high-quality goods and international cuisine with the best in live entertainment.
The recent Night Market at Serenity Hills welcomed families and four-legged friends to shop and experience a great evening out in this serene and safe environment.
“The Night Market is the embodiment of Serenity Hills’ core values, a community-focused, family-friendly market prioritising locally sourced products in this beautiful natural environment,” commented Serenity Hills development director, Sam Wenger.
The high quality of goods sold makes this one of the only markets in the region that is comparable to those found along the Western Cape.
“This is also a great opportunity for visitors to take a look around the exquisite Serenity Hills Show House while enjoying a glass of wine,” said Wenger.

The Night Market is the perfect space for families to enjoy a delicious meal featuring cuisine from around the globe, with a great selection of wine, crafts gins, and beers on offer. Every month, the Night Market welcomes a new local band to create a magical atmosphere around the fire while patrons dine al fresco. The children’s activity section keeps the young ones entertained with a variety of interactive games. The market is pet-friendly, with 24-hour security, and is fully operational throughout load shedding or if it rains.
Wenger explained that the majority of products sold at Night Market are locally sourced and, if not locally made, then the business behind the products is local.
There are close to 50 vendors selling jewellery, resin crafts, perfumes, children’s toys, art, homeware, beeswax products, skincare products, plants, handcrafted knives, clothing, and hair accessories. There’s also an array of delectable pickles, preserves, cakes, pastries, and biltong available.
The market is always held on the last Friday of the month with occasional additional market dates during seasonal times.
