VOX POPS: What do you inspire to be?

The Rising Sun took to the streets to ask Grade 7s, 10s and matriculants on what they aspire to be and how will they use that to benefit the community. Here is what some had to say...

Lurdes Marisol Mngomezulu
Matric (Topaz Secondary School

I want to be a doctor because in my community I witness a lot of people in my community suffering
and not many health services are offered to them, so I want to make a change by saving people’s
lives.

Mariyam Bibi Mamun
Grade 7 (Greyville Primary School)

I want to become a doctor because I have been hospitalised with appendicitis and would not like someone else to go through that. I just want to save as many
lives as I possibly can.

Mpho Rabolele
Matric (Azara Secondary

I want to become an Accountant (CA). The mere reason is that the lack of financial knowledge that people in local communities have, this brings the economy to become slow in developing.
Therefore, being a CA will benefit my community by financial advice.

Ntando Madia from
Grade 10 (Trinity Secondary School)

I want to be a lawyer, the reason being; I want to remove bad elements in our society and put them
behind bars. I believe that I will be a great lawyer and an asset to the nation.

Shanique Anastasia Jackson
Grade 7 (Greyville Primary School)

I want to be a doctor. I believe I could bring basic health services to my community. In this regard I would also eradicate a lot of social ills in my community.

Marcus Nembilwi
Grade 10 (Trinity Secondary School)

I am the future doctor; I want to ensure that our senior citizens especially in the township that am from are well taken care off.

Snethemba Gamede

Matric (Topaz Seconadry School)

I want to be an Architecture because I feel like South Africa should have more people in that
industry to increase economic growth and I want to add onto that by creating more designs on industrial buildings, creating jobs for local people.
