Wendy Holness donates toys to celebrate 80th birthday
As I said, we have been helping non-stop over Christmas but have officially opened up again and are already working on projects for Easter.
We wish you, your staff, and our wonderful community a prosperous new year.
Our year started on a hectic note, as usual, and unfortunately, we did not have much of a break as many people needed help over the festive season.
With our country in such a state, I don’t think it will get better soon.
Over the festive season, lots of people brought food, and people from Durban came to donate to us.
It made a big difference in people’s lives, and we are very grateful.
Lots of people also donated goods to us. May God always bless you!
WendyHolness from Renishaw Retirement Village asked everyone to donate a toy for her 80th birthday, and needless to say, we were beneficiaries of 40 gifts that went out to less-privileged children in our community.
These were children that did not benefit from the shoe box campaign 2022 .
Wendy, you were a hero for those children for bringing joy to those children.

Please, we need as much help as our community can give, as things are getting more expensive and difficult for the poor.
Donations of clothing for women, men, and children, kitchen utensils, electric appliances, furniture, bedding even garden tools to hand out to people to make a vegetable garden will help immensely.
