Shoe box campaign 2022 wraps up

We are almost at the end of this year, and what a year it’s been! However, we were also very blessed and would like to say a big thank you to Brenda Angus and her group of ladies for filling so many shoe box gifts for us, and yes, it came just in time.

At this stage, we are wrapping up the 2022 shoe box campaign.

Our first handout will be on November 23.

We will be going to Alexandra Old Age Home to spoil them, and we have also invited some of the People from Elders Voice to join us.

We also thank the many people for donations to our organization in the last two weeks.

Some people drop off items, and sometimes we don’t get to meet them, but please know that each donation makes a big difference in people’s lives.

We will be closing on December 1, to take a well-deserved vacation, but we will still be able to pick up donations, or people can drop it off at 106 Alkins Drive Park Rynie.

We ask people to donate non-perishable food to us this month, so we can add extra to those we are supporting.

Let’s spread Christmas joy to the less fortunate. Since the lockdown, the number of people needing help has escalated out of proportion, and we try to help as many as possible.

To the people out there, we are not just a feeding scheme.

We deal with child abuse, drug addiction, and much more on a daily basis.

It’s not always nice to deal with these situations, but we do make a difference in our community.

We thank Lani and Liz from Lakeview Lifestyle for always helping us with the elderly who are very sick and cannot afford medical help.

They treat their patients with dignity and respect. Lani and Liz, we need more people like you. May you and all your carers be blessed.
