Cici Beauty Pageants NPO encourages young girls to lead by example
The competition was attended by nine schools from various areas, namely: Lenasia Secondary, Madiba Primary, and Azara Secondary Schools, Tshepo Ya Rona and Qalabotjha Secondary, Moses Maren Mission Technical School, Zakariyya Park Combined School, Glenvista High School, and Reasoma Secondary School.
Cici Beauty Pageants, a non-profit organisation, held its first 2023 modelling contest at Zakariyya Park, recently. Young girls, between the ages of 13 and 18, were encouraged to lead by example and value themselves regardless of their appearance at the tournament.
The competition was attended by nine schools from various areas, namely: Lenasia Secondary, Madiba Primary, and Azara Secondary Schools, Tshepo Ya Rona and Qalabotjha Secondary, Moses Maren Mission Technical School, Zakariyya Park Combined School, Glenvista High School, and Reasoma Secondary School.

The competition was split into four categories: junior, teen, plus-size, and senior pageants. There were 11 participants from all the categories and only nine won.
Zakariyya Park Combined School had three winners. The overall Plus Size Queen-Miss Lenasia School winner is Tshilidzi Lephazi from Azara Secondary School.
