Chatsworth SAPS continue fight against drugs
Acting station commander, Col Poolandran Moodley, is appealing to the community to report illicit drug activity to Chatsworth SAPS.
A 48-year-old man was recently arrested by the Chatsworth Drug Unit after being found in possession of rock cocaine at a local drug hotspot.
According to communications officer at Chatsworth SAPS, Cpt Cheryl Pillay, the man was found in possession of 382 pieces of rock cocaine, on Friday.

“Police received information regarding the man selling drugs at a known drug hotspot and immediately conducted a search. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of R 8, 000 and will be forwarded for forensic analysis. The suspect will soon appear in the Chatsworth Magistrates Court,” explained Cpt Pillay.
