Woman killed in Higginson horror crash
Manager of the PT Alarms Ambulance Service, Sanjay Patel, said that prior to emergency services arriving, commuters exited the vehicle, which rolled over to its right side.
Commuters travelling home from work, last Wednesday, were met with a grim site in Mobeni Heights as a taxi had collided with a saloon car, in an accident which left a trail of destruction and debris as it claimed the life of a woman, leaving dozens more injured.
Manager of the PT Alarms Ambulance Service, Sanjay Patel, said that prior to emergency services arriving, commuters exited the vehicle, which rolled over to its right side.

“Upon arrival at the scene, the crew proceeded to offer intermediate life support to patients as per the emergency services triage system. They initiated CPR to a priority one patient, which was unsuccessful. Crews then assisted a priority two patient, who sustained fractures to both arms, as well as a priority three patient, who had a dislocated right shoulder. The patients were then transported to a nearby provincial facility for further medical intervention. The PT Ambulance Service would like to convey appreciation to all the emergency service personnel, who assisted at the scene,” said Patel.

At this stage, the events leading up to the accident are unknown, but according to unconfirmed reports, the driver of the taxi was allegedly attempting to overtake a vehicle before the collision.
