President Cyril Ramaphosa has now taken the country to level two, which allows outdoor gatherings of 500 people provided that all protocols are followed.

“COVID-19 has been devastating with tens of thousands losing their jobs. We must rebuild local economies with home industries that offer goods and services in the local community. This market has proven an ideal platform for creative people to earn an income,” added Naidoo.
Sixty stalls offer everything from Bombay Crush to sweet pan, wood-smoked chicken to plants, clothing, pet treats, masala and massages.
The organisers are especially keen to promote entrepreneurship among children. Free stall spaces are offered to schools on a rotational basis to encourage children to get their products to market.
Kalon Reddy will bring his hand-knitted toys and figurines while younger sister, Liyah will showcase her handmade jewellery. Schools or young people may message the organisers on 073-685-5426 to book a slot. The market will run from nine until three every Sunday
