Alipore’s newly refurbished library inspires reading

Alipore Primary School pupils are getting their ‘reading on’ by making full use of the newly refurbished library. Pupils have been encouraged to make use of the facility to increase knowledge and learning.

“With so much time spent on social media, many children don’t read much,” she said.
Singh is a firm believer in the saying: Today’s readers are tomorrow’s leaders. Pupils, who read widely, are known to spell better and have wider general knowledge. Community members are encouraged to donate books to the library.
