Man killed in pit bull attack

According to residents who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the man, who is believed to be in his 60’s, visited his son’s home to feed the pit bulls everyday.

An elderly man was allegedly mauled by his son’s pit bulls after he fell while feeding them, in Crossmoor last week. According to residents who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the man, who is believed to be in his 60’s, visited his son’s home to feed the pit bulls everyday.

One of the residents said, “The man was bitten on his face and head several times. He had to have a sealed coffin due to the severity of his injuries. The dogs have since been euthanized and we now feel a bit safer. The dogs bit a child who lives in the same household a while ago and the same man who passed on had saved the child’s life. The incident is tragic and we hope incidents of this nature do not happen again.”
