WATCH: Fiery blaze erupts at Lenasia substation

City Power has confirmed that it is aware of a fire that has erupted at the Lenasia substation, earlier this morning.

It is also known that this incident caused a power outage affecting customers throughout Lenasia.

Operators, as well as the risk team, have been notified and dispatched to attend to this outage.

“City Power will provide updates as they become available. We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” it said in a statement.
