Bruce Gounder Film Academy introduces holistic approach to acting

Bruce Gounder, director of the Bruce Gounder Film Academy, has introduced his innovative ‘Bruce Gounder Approach’ – a groundbreaking system combining intuitive exercises, improvisation, and scene work to help actors tap into their creative potential and deliver authentic, captivating performances.
“The fundamentals of method acting are concentration and being in the moment. I infuse spirituality and teachings from Guru Nanak (Naam Simran), Krishna consciousness (mindfulness), Zen Buddhist principles (empty cup mentality, letting go of ego), and Third Eye meditation for awareness and intuition. I also draw from Japanese culture, including sword fighting and Budo (martial arts principles) to enhance physicality and movement,” he said.
