Hawks arrest two men for drug dealing in Westham
The KwaZulu-Natal Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation provincial head, Maj Gen Lesetja Senona welcomed the arrest and applauded the police officers for the good work.
The Hawks from the Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation, working together with Crime Intelligence, National Intervention Unit, Tactical Response Team, Durban Metro Police and private security companies, arrested two suspects, aged 48 and 53, for dealing in drugs, on Friday.
Police received information about the suspects, who were dealing in drugs in the Westham area in Phoenix. A joint operation was conducted and police swooped on the said premises.

Upon entering, the suspects fled the scene and further information was received about the whereabouts of the drugs.

The team proceeded to the said address and a search was conducted. Police found heroin capsules, heroin powder, crack cocaine, pure cocaine powder and mandrax tables to the street value of approximately R154, 450.
