Sewage concerns in Lenasia South
The Rising Sun urges locals to maintain a clean environment, refrain from littering, and reprimand those who do.
Several blocked sewers throughout Lenasia south are proving to be a major health and environmental hazard.
Children from Kingswood Christian School use a pathway affected by one of these blocked streams to get to school.
Cllr Puseletso Ndimande was notified about this stream on multiple occasions. When the Rising Sun contacted her on October 24, she advised journalists that the residents should report the issue to Rand Water Depot, but as it stands, the issue has not been resolved.

Cllr Ndimande told the Rising Sun that residents do not do follow- ups with her so she does not know if the sewage is still a problem. She also said that residents should go to the depo for such concerns.
