An appeal was made for donations in cash and kind, and both individuals and businesses dug deep into their pockets, to bring smiles to the children, who live at the home.

According to an ecstatic Malvern Children’s Home director, Andile Ncamana, the broadcast managed to raise about R100, 000 in cash and kind.

He expressed his sincerest gratitude to Lotus FM, and those, who generously donated to the home.

The home caters to about 100 children, who come from underprivileged and impoverished backgrounds, and is in desperate need of aid and assistance, so this financial injection will go a long way in making the children’s lives that much better.
