The glamourous affair, which saw excited cast and crew members, Durban personalities, sponsors, special guests and media representatives in attendance, was held at Ster-Kinekor in Gateway.

The red carpet was rolled out in grand style for the respective actors and actresses, who could hardly contain their elation knowing that months of hard work, long hours and devotion had finally come to fruition.

It was all smiles at the premiere of Broken Promises 4-ever.

After a merry and intimate photo-shoot coupled with brief interviews, the cast and crew mingled with fans and heartily accepted congratulatory wishes and praises from guests, who were honoured to be part of the momentous occasion.

The special guests were then treated to a light dinner which consisted of a selection of appetising savouries.

This provided everyone with the opportunity to share their excitement of being able to watch the movie before it could officially be released in Durban cinemas on July 27.

Throughout this time, it remained evident that everyone was glad that the director, Kumaran Naidu chose to introduce the fourth installment to the franchise, which captivated viewers since the first hit movie.

Dressed to impress, three of the cast members smile for the camera.

After everyone ate to their hearts’ content, it was time to pick up a box of freshly prepared popcorn, an iced beverage and head into the movie theatre for the most-anticipated time of the night.

Before Broken Promises 4-ever could be screened, it was only fitting for the director, Mr K Naidu and producer, Fadeen Mia to address the large gathering without giving out too much away about the movie.

Formalities were kept to a minimum, however, Naidu’s and Mia’s sense of appreciation and gratefulness shown towards the cast and crew set the tone high.
