Chats man arrested with over R150k worth of drugs

The suspect was arrested and detained at Chatsworth SAPS.


The Durban Metro Police recently arrested a 42-year-old man for alleged drug dealing during an intelligence-driven operation in Chatsworth.

During the operation, police officers recovered 280 capsules of suspected heroin, 1, 250 pieces of suspected rock cocaine, and 375 tablets of suspected mandrax with an estimated street value of R154, 950. In addition, the police recovered R179, 400 in suspected proceeds of crime.

The suspect was arrested and detained at Chatsworth SAPS on charges relating to the possession of suspected drugs and proceeds of crime.
